Bangladesh Project
Bangladesh was established in 1971 after the Bangladesh Liberation War for independence from Pakistan. With independence came famines, natural disasters and widespread poverty. The nonprofit Saidpur Enterprises started manufacturing jute market bags to help rebuild local economies and create opportunity for the whole supply chain — farmer to manufacturer.
