I heard of the legend of Davy K. D. Young when Invisible Children first made steps into the UK. His outgoing personality and impressive resume always made him the man to meet. As my family prepared for our annual February visit to Washington DC, I was pleased to hear our paths would finally cross. At 30-years old, Davy earned his British stripes on November 2nd, 1980. Five miles south of Oxford - in the country village Marsh Baldon. He studied government, played tennis and became familiar with world events as his father shared his dream of supporting businesses and governments with the best global analysis. As one of five siblings, Young’s hungry tenacity is entertaining to absorb and well suited for Invisible Children's youthful enterprise. His character and impressive training from his family’s business, Oxford Analytica, is extraordinary. Davy’s father, Dr. David R. Young, realized 35 years ago - that the best leaders need the most accurate and authoritative information constantly at their finger tips. Dr. Young pushed this idea into a fine tuned current affairs compass. Responsible for guiding government and business leaders with a concise and comprehensive analysis of all global affairs. Davy was kind enough to share a 60 day glimpse of the deep valleys of Oxford Analytica's information stockroom. Punctually arriving in my inbox every morning at 630AM PST. It was daunting to be drinking coffee while sharing the same content as the world’s brightest minds.

As Davy is now Invisible Children’s, International Strategy Advisor, our time together in Washington DC was filled with rich conversation, mutual dreams of creating change and curiosity of when Washington’s February 6th snow blizzard would reside. We value Davy’s friendship and his father’s vision for Oxford Analytica. A content gold mind that is an inspiring resource for global decision making.
