Richmond, Virginia is a unique town for many reasons. The community values local business, is notorious for its Southern hospitality, and is home to historic landmarks that make the city an American masterpiece. Richmond is the birthplace of influential American politicians and culture-shaping individuals, including Patrick Henry and Edgar Allen Poe. Its rich history gives the city a unique and patriotic feel. Carytown, a neighborhood within Richmond, is home to over 300 local and independent businesses, which provides the perfect setting for the Need Supply brick and mortar shop. Our Local+Global Richmond Market bag has found a fitting home in Richmond, as the community fosters support with its unmatched charm and genuine respect for lasting values and tradition.
We've gotten to know the Need Supply team over the past few years, and have been consistently impressed by their attention to detail, desire to innovate, and pride in the quality of their work. Late last year, we shared with Need Supply goals for our traveling installation, Apolis: Nomad Market. Both Apolis and Need Supply agreed that Richmond would be an ideal location to start the new year. We are privileged to announce the opening of Apolis: Nomad Market within Need Supply on February 8th. Please join us for an engaging evening as Need Supply continues their "Meet Your Maker" series (Invitation to RSVP).
We are thankful for Need Supply's partnership with Apolis: Nomad Market. We have included a short photo story of Need Supply's 400 mile road trip from New York to Virginia, a friendly reminder of the timeless beauty of America's East Coast.
