Every season, we partner with a developing country to create a travel documentary that celebrates the heritage of a country and highlights the manufacturing process of our season’s key product. Last season, we found ourselves in Nepal, and this season we are headed to Vietnam. Starting next week, we will be field testing an assortment of our autumn collection and putting the finishing touches on two upcoming items for our Transit Issue category. Both of which are travel engineered by our technical designer/defacto explorer Geoff Rittmeyer.
In order to properly capture this process, we will be riding motorcycles along the Ho Chi Minh trail via Russian Minsk bikes. The journey will document modern Vietnam, including Vietnamese cottage and commercial industries and cultural landmarks, as well as the country’s inhabitants. This trip will be regularly broadcasted on the Apolis journal, and upon return, we will be releasing a film to showcase the entirety of the journey.
