We received many submissions for our giveaway documenting the contents of occupation and leisure - telling the many stories of Philanthropist Briefcase owners. Looking through the submissions one stood out from the rest, Australia’s William Snell. With an inspirational story as a modern activist architect; William is an easy recipient of the Philanthropist Briefcase giveaway. Growing up in the seaside port of Fremantle with two siblings - Snell decided to study a year of architecture at the University of Western Australia. By the age of 25, Will attributes his enthusiasm for creative arts to a loving mother and art professor father. Throughout his life he has carried an appreciation for the simple and understated by spending summers with family cooking pizzas on their wood-fire oven, rolling fresh pasta and hand making gelato. Uniquely balanced by Will’s ambitious interest in design, fashion and commerce. As American Apparel’s Australia Operations Manager, Will’s nomadic livelihood has him pulled across all corners of the Australian continent with enough bonus miles to visit his girlfriend in Hamburg, Germany. A genuine appreciation for family, commerce and compassion makes Will a new friend and perfect ambassador of Apolis.
