For many years, Europe has served as an unforgettable destination for family getaways and my recent trip to Spain and France confirmed my respect for the beautiful architecture, amazing food and breathtaking sites Europe has to offer. Last month I was lucky enough to spend two weeks in San Sebastian, Spain and Paris, France with my best friend, and now wife, Mary Parton. We began our trip in San Sebastian, where the highlights were catching up with long-time Spanish friends and spending a little time surfing. Next, we took a train to Paris where we spent a week riding bikes through the city visiting the Eiffel Tower, Versailles, and The Louvre. We stayed in St. Germaine and were blown away by the efficient public transportation, incredible food, and historic sites throughout the city. We also enjoyed catching up with Apolis’ Paris retail partner, Frenchtrotters, and taking in the final leg of the Tour de France in the midst of a record heatwave. The trip was an incredible gift to both of us, an opportunity to relax, take in new sites, and enjoy time together as a newly married couple.
