Read: Apolis Spotted on Oprah - April 2011

Jason Russell and Laren Poole, co-founders of the non-profit Invisible Children, are two of the most committed activists, travelers and filmmakers that we know. A few years ago we interviewed Jason for an Apolis Conversation video and since then their impact has grown dramatically. Their incredible focus and discipline is demonstrated by the success of IC’s recent grassroots “25” campaign which has raised over $1.7 million to help ensure safe havens for child soldiers in Africa.

We are grateful to be able to maintain our partnership with their Ugandan Cotton Initiative through the success of our Philanthropist Briefcase and we were honored that they chose to wear Apolis for their most recent Oprah appearance.  We love what we do, working to empower manufacturers and equip our global community with products that carry stories of their own and we are always inspired to see our Advocates doing such effective work.
