On September 20th we were overjoyed to host a grand opening celebration at Apolis: Community Centre located in Soho, New York. Featuring a performance by blind jazz pianist Justin Kauflin, who is a protege of famed record producer Quincy Jones.
Our Grand Opening was attended by friends old and new, and we were so blown away by the local support. The evening began with a live conversation hosted by Condne Nast Travler’s Mens Style Editor, Matt Hranek. Raan and I (Shea), were asked a few live questions by Matt and a handful of social media & open mic questions from the audience. It was great to share the story of how Apolis has evolved over the years and answer a few honest questions about lessons we have learned along the way. We were then pleased to welcome the main attraction, Justin Kauflin, who treated us to some absolutely mind blowing piano playing. Special thanks to the 200+ guests that joined us and our friends from Happy Cooking NYC for helping with the hospitality.
Special thanks to Justin, Matt, the Apolis team and everyone that attended our Grand Opening at Apolis: Community Centre. The following photostory by Ray Neutron showcases highlights from the evening. We hope you will join us for our upcoming events - all of which will always be listed on this page. Or feel free to contact our Retail Manager in Soho, Benny Quinonez, for a personal invite.
