On September 18th, I had the great pleasure of hosting our fifth skill-building workshop at Apolis: Community Centre in SoHo, New York. I got to share tips and insights from my experiences as an entrepreneur and designer, and participants received a short fill-in workbook on How to Build a Brand with Purpose. I discussed what I really think are the keys to success when growing a brand, including lessons I've learned as Co-Founder and Creative Director of Apolis. The evening ended with a stimulating Q&A discussion involving the 45+ guests who had taken the time to garner knowledge they can use in their own business endeavors. We also had a surprise screening of our upcoming Bangladesh film as a little bonus for everyone that attended the workshop.
Thanks to the Apolis team and everyone involved in this—I'm especially thankful to those who attended because 100% of ticket sales went to the Greater Houston Community Foundation for Hurricane Harvey. The following photostory by the talented Ray Neutron showcases highlights from the evening. We hope you'll join us for our next workshop in October in the coming weeks. All our upcoming Apolis: Community Centre events will be listed on this page, so you can always check the page for the latest news!
