We are always inspired by the people around us in our community of Los Angeles. We originally crossed paths with the husband and wife team behind Darling Magazine when we first arrived into Los Angeles and lived down the street from Steve Dubbeldam in 2007. When Steve is not helping run the ship at Darling he is hosting 13 friends on one of his 300-mile motorcycle adventures, which we have had the privilege to tag along and enjoy the fun. Steve's wife Sarah is an Oregon-born blonde that is the Editor-in-Chief of Darling Magazine. Together they have helped us release a limited edition collaboration of our Market Bag, with "Darling" in sixteen languages - Shop Now.
It's inspiring to see how Darling started as an online magazine to help mentor women through the highs and lows of young adulthood. Today, Darling is on their fourteenth issue and the following photostory is a glimpse into Sarah's design process, her Los Angeles studio with growing team, and a few images showcasing her mission of documenting the art of being a women.
