We founded Apolis with a commitment to work towards advocacy through industry. As we’ve sought to follow this mission, we’ve had the honor of partnering with some incredible organizations both locally and globally in order to produce high-quality goods in ethical conditions in a way which benefits local communities.
Recently, we moved our entire printed T-Shirt production to Knit Generation, a manufacturer just miles away from our flagship store, Apolis: Common Gallery Knit Generation uses high social and environmental standards, and we are thrilled to partner with them to create organic cotton tees, such as our customizable T-shirts.
We recently paid a visit to our 25,000 sq. ft. factory and had the pleasure of meeting with several of the 100 employees who make Apolis products. One of the people we met was Solomon Garcia, who has worked at Knit Generation for two years, and has worked in T-shirt printing in general for over 15 years. Solomon is the printing manager in charge of making sure that all Apolis products are printed correctly and delivered on time. He told us, "What I love about this job is that I still learn something new everyday. There is always something new to learn. Things get better over time, and it is better for me to always to learn more so I can do more." We are so appreciative that people like Solomon are willing to partner with us, and that we get to provide employment to these hard-working artisans.
